The hotel was in a great location and had friendly staff there just seemed to be a drainage issue downstairs which stunk out the room and the rooms don’t have windows that can open. Once we changed rooms to upstairs it was fine.

The Marc hotel is somewhat of a huge let down. We arrived days before and stayed at another hotel (Persona), and walked over to speak to the front desk the day before our booking. The staff confirmed that we would have our room ready at a certain time. We showed up to be told that it would be hours - and our entire day was planned around getting in when they said we could. The room was small and cramped. The pool is basically useless - there's room for 3 people max on the pool deck. The food was blah. The staff wasn't great. Upon checkout we informed them that we broke a glass. A small water cup that they dangle on a small shelf in the middle of the room. Instead of being like any normal hotel - they ran around asking people how much to charge us. And finally came up with an arbitrary number that they decided was worth it (oh and it had to be cash). That number was $100,000 rp. $10 for a small cup?!? This was just the icing on the cake for this hotel that advertises itself as a luxury hotel - but the cheaper rooms down the street at Persona blew this place out of the water.
