Hotel owner Rafael is very helpful and nice. We enjoyed his pickup service from train station and we can also leave our bags in the hotel after we checked out, which makes us feel very relaxed while visiting the Machu Picchu mountains.

The location is good, close to hot springs. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the hotel needs some upgrades. The shower door in our room was falling out of the frame, so we couldn't close it, the hot water was either absent or didn't have any pressure, the bed had cardboards under the mattress and the mattress was super hard.

We loved our stay at the Viandina. We needed a clean, welcoming place for two nights in Aguascalientes and we found it in Viandina.
They met us at the train station, answered alot of questions regarding Machu Picchu, and were very welcoming. They had arranged for a guide for us and when the guide agency did a “bait and switch”, they didn’t charge us for the guide.
Warm breakfast, clean room, friendly service. Loved it!

Location was great, short walk to thermal baths and waterfall. Close to train station and everything else. Staff was very helpful. Great breakfast and massage services on site which were very helpful for our tired bodies! The room was clean and comfortable and a great value.
Water in shower was not as hot as I like it but it was comfortable, so we adapted and didn’t let the is minor thing overshadow the good things.

We chose to stay at aqua Caliente and headed to Machu Picchu the next morning instead of leaving at 4 am from Cusco for a day tour. Very fortunate to find this small but great hotel. They served breakfast since 5 am. 5 min walk to the bus stop to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Very reasonable price.

It was an okay property at the top of the town near the hot springs. We had to keep asking for toilet paper since they would only give us 1 small one at a time for 3 people. There was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up. Breakfast was okay, you get bread and sliced ham and white cheese and bananas. I would probably stay at a different property next time in the area.
