Hovel
I stayed in room 1 which was terrible. I wouldn't even put my dog in it.

Great location.
Budget hotel, friendly staff, excellent location for town centre. Licensed bar, selling food.
The interior is in need of some modernisation however this is reflected in the price you pay. I will be using this hotel again.

All in all very basic, but I did sleep ok.
I thought also I’d booked breakfast but you have to do that when you arrive. It would have been nice to have been reminded but because the reception is the bar on a noisy Saturday night it wasn’t really what I expected from a hotel.
The room was very basic and dated but I slept well.

Worst place I've ever booked 😡
Quick stopover in Kilmarnock
Suppose I shouldn't complain about paying £30 for a room BUT....
The room was horrible, the lamp didn't work and was caked in cobwebs and dust, the bedspread was old and grey (once white maybe?) and didn't look clean, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, the door snub lock wasn't secure & looked like it had been burst open by the cracked and splintered looking facing next to the door.
The shared toilet WAS the cleanest part.
I needed to use the WI-FI but it didn't work in my room I was told by the barmaid but I could use it in the public bar.
This in my estimation is NOT a hotel but a pub with six rooms.
I gave my key back to the barmaid as I decided to look elsewhere for accommodation rather than stay the night.

Room was a riot
Common area like the bar seemed fine but the room we stayed in was disgusting. Bed was super uncomfortable woke in pain during the night from it. Room seriously needs a good clean and freshen up. Staff were really helpful though. I get that it wasn't overly priced but I still feel it wasn't worth what we payed.
