Ideal stopover
Our stop at Waverley was the end of a 10 day trip to Scotland. Callander has always been a favourite place to us, so looking for a place to stay on our journey home Callander was ideal. We have eaten and had a few drinks in the Waverley in the past, staying in other accommodation, so this was our first stay here.

Box room disappointed my stay at Callander, it was our first visit to this part of the country and I was desperately disappointed.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic...the staff are all so attentive and friendly, the rooms are big and beautiful and spotless, the bedding is top quality and the beds so very comfortable, the food is so good and the bar is well run and has a great atmosphere. I really can't recommend The Waverley highly enough...go, stay and have a ball...we did!

First impressions weren’t great when I was asked to pay for the room when I had already paid through Expedia. Once I logged into banking to confirm, it was fine. Breakfast great. Room comfortable however there were tears in the duvet cover and ground in stains on one of the towels, otherwise a lovely stay. Would stay again.

The gentlemen who helped check us in and serve us our meals were extremely kind and very helpful. They went out of their way, especially Steven, to make sure we had a pleasant stay.
