Great staff, very comfortable room. I would have expected a midday checkout with a Hilton and unfortunately they were too busy to extend my checkout from 11am when I asked, but it’s a minor thing, overall it was a great stay. Good location but there are some adult stores just over the road which might make some people uncomfortable!

Impressive rooms
Service was competent and VERY friendly. Impressive room design with full length windows and window seat, a wardrobe accessible from both the bedroom & bathroom, and ability to visually combine the bathroom with the bedroom via a shower blind. The bed & pillows were divine. The Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries were lovely. Everything was very clean except the kettle was a bit grotty. In the restaurant there was an unclean cup in the stack of clean ones, and the hand sanitiser was empty for 2 days. As breakfast is a buffet this is not acceptable. Sadly breakfast was a let down. There was a good variety and plenty of it but the fruit was old, the mushrooms looked very old, and all the cooked components were not warm. The overhead heating lights above the glass lids don't do the job. Nice pool area
