The only complaint I had about this hotel is the restaurant’s Japanese food are not authentic enough. The Ramen tastes are more western style, like eating Japanese Ramen in New York. Also the choices are very limited on menu no matter for lunch or dinner. Also there’s a lot of room for the hotel to improve their fruit selection for breakfast.

Great location, ski in/out. at Hirafu near many restaurants Staff attended to all our needs. New property so all in room facilities were great. ski rentals and staff there were excellent. Food at Kumo was superb. Breakfast can be better by alternating menu more. Have a kids area for snow fun. Toilet although new was a bit dark. Can do with more lighting Overall highly recommended

Great location and hotel, shame that it was inconsistent with the service staff - surprisingly majority of the ex-pat staff were providing the great service. The onsen was great but the private ones had a funky smell.
