We had a lovely stay at Picton House. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and after looking around at the beautiful common rooms, shared a drink and conversation with the owners before retiring. The owners were most friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for things to explore in the area. Our room was large and comfortable, with a good shower and unusually well stocked tea service. Breakfast was excellent. There is a lovely large patio outside, as well as a picnic area along the river. Bottom line, we were truly made to feel like guests. We will definitely stay again when we inevitably return to explore the area more thoroughly.

8/10 Very good

I stayed over for 1 night for work purposes and had a pleasant stay. Hotel was very quiet but both members of staff very very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. I had the curry from the restaurant which was nice, although I would of preferred more spice due to my own preference, it was still lovely to eat. Nice breakfast cooked freshly in the morning before I needed to leave which was great. Overall a nice experience.
