Overall ok - Not central.
Booked a trip as a surprise for my husband’s birthday. The hotel looks nice, and has been well renovated. We were given a room with view on the railways- not ideal, to be honest. Unfortunately also, the last couple of days, the smell of the drains in our room was not great at all, especially given our bathroom closed with curtains. The staff was overall kind and helpful. However, the surprise pre-ordered for my husband’s birthday was incomplete when we arrived. Had to call reception to have the cake and champagne delivered. The spa is small but convenient. The breakfast was decent. Long story short, good value for money, but not exactly in the city center (15-20min walk depending on your level of fitness).

The staff were all very friendly, room was clean and meticulous. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of foods and the spa access was a nice touch. The hotel is within walking distance to most of the attractions and is close to the train station, but you can easily walk around the city from the hotel. Would definitely recommend to others and would book again if I come back to Budapest.
