Wonderful!
Absolutely Marvellous! I had the pleasure of staying for two nights during a longer trip to Catania and Aci Castello. The staff were superb. Remarkably welcoming, helpful and knowledgable. The property is well maintained, very clean and had plenty amenities for its size. The bedroom had everything (and anything) you could need - a great hairdryer, flipflops, slippers, robe, full set of bath gel, shampoo, conditioner (Etro no less!), comb, toothbrush, earplugs, eye mask, umbrella, super espresso machine, kettle, the list goes on. The bed was very comfortable with plush linen. The television was great, with access to Netflix and Prime. It has been respectfully and tastefully restored, but has all of the modern touches you would expect. A real touch of understated luxury. Having left the Romano Palace because of cleanliness, I couldn’t have been happier with my choice! Location is second to none. Undoubtably the best place I have stayed in Sicily. I will certainly be back!

This is one of the best hotel’s I have stayed at. This hotel was created by renovating an 18th century home of a Nobel family. The room we stayed in had the original ornate ceiling of the home. The room was beautiful. The amenities that were provided was at a luxury standard. The staff was exceptionally professional, helpful, and kind. The daily morning breakfast had some of the most delicious pasties I have ever had. The location was exceptional and located in the city center next to the Basilica de Sant Agata. The list of positives for this hotel is too numerous to document. I wish I could have stayed longer.
