Very good
All was quite good but signage in the carpark wasnt so good. It was hard to see the painted numbers. Not enough shelf space for drying hair in the morning for work, etc. But generally an excellent location and comfortable. Good value.

Excellent location close to arts and cultural precinct and CBD. Clean, spacious building and apartments. Amenities were good including gym and pool. Quiet and non smoking which was ideal.

Lovely room over looking the river and city views. The width of the balcony was very small. Found a couple of items that the cleaners didn't see in the room. I booked through wotif and on the website for this Hotel/ Apartment said that there was free parking, the person on front desk said that I had to pay $15 per day for parking. Very deceiving from wotif or may be from both parties, I was not happy about that. (Waiting for lifts were pain staking.) One lift was not working at the time of our stay - there are 30 floors. Walking distance to southbank and catching public transport. I was concerned about the homeless drunks around in the area.

Great Room, Excellent Position close to everything in South Brisbane and West End. Don’t be in a hurry though the Lifts are useless. Prepare to wait

The elevators were out of service often. For a building of this size this resulted in wait times up to 15 minutes to get up to our room or down to the ground floor.

Firstly, it was difficult to find...The building is actually called Crown Casino apartments (or something like that) and doesnt say Arise on Hope anywhere. Could be easily fixed. The apartment was great. Very clean and still quite new - all as described. Checking in was time consuming as there is only one person on the reception - looking and sounding stressed. He knew his job but was juggling phone calls, an angry guest who didnt get the view he expected , tenants and those waiting to check in. He was also on when we checked out next day and still super busy... The apartments are also rented permanently and there were alot of people going up and down the lifts and there were long waits (only 2 of 3 lifts were operating whilst we were there). Luckily we love dogs because there were lots of people with dogs going up and down the lifts. Parking was tight for a large 4WD ute - I specifically asked for a spot NOT next to a pillar and was given one next to a pillar and a car on other side and couldn't get enough swing to get in so I took another and told the reception and he was fine with that. We had a pleasant stay and I would stay again, knowing which building it was and what to expect. Very handy to GOMA and West End so that was a big plus.
