No longer the Hard Rock hotel.
I booked this hotel as it was the Hard Rock hotel. On arrival the hotel has been rebranded and is no longer the HR. There was no prior communication before arrival as I would have cancelled and booked somewhere else. I had specifically chosen a HR for a special occasion. It was only because i knew where the hotel was that I was able to find it. To turn up and look for the HR that was to be a special surprise to find a Cumberland hotel was very disappointing. It wasnt until i asked at reception that we were told about the rebranding. Again the fact that it was a HR was reflected in what i was willing to pay. I could have stayed somewhere much more convenient for my plans for the same price but was willing to travel further in order to stay there.

Great stay amazing place to stay with the kids We had the best sleep and very good location. Only thing is the breakfast is poorly organised plates and bowls in the wrong place and condiments not easily accessible. Generally great hotel clean and comfortable. Plus name of hotel has changed to Cumberland but no one told us

Hard Rock definitely rocks!
Excellent stay at the Hard Rock! As usual all staff super friendly & fantastic. The atmosphere in there is brilliant. Nice room & the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in. Extra fuss made of our son who had a lovely activity pack waiting. Such a shame it’s rebranding next week.
