This hotel no longer exists. Expedia stii has this listing up even though I advised them of this status. I arrived to a cloed and under renovation property. Luckily, i ran into the new operators who extended their hospitality to me at another property in town.

Value for money
It's a great place to stay, we had a massive room that was super clean and nice. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear people talking outside quite easily and it's a bit of a walk to the main street but other than that would definitely stay there again.

Nice rooms and great breakfast!!!
The first night I was given a very large room by mistake for the same price. The next day I was moved to a smaller room but still nice. The breakfast choices are very good egg, banana pancakes, Lao green tea, fruit etc. It is about a 10 minute walk to the main town area. Staff was very helpful in giving advice and helping me to contact the tour company when my VIP bus pickup was very late.

Worst place ever. Breakfast was never on time. We had to wait that the cook arrive from the market to make a simple egg at 8:15 am. Coffe maker was on the floor and cold. One day they forgot to clean our room (and we were the only ones there). Pool is a joke, they use this place to dry all the hotel towels.

Lovely stay in Akira
Small and comfortable hotel a walking distance away from city center. Personnel is very healpful and friendly. We enjoyd our stay especially because we were upgraded to a larger room. Brekfast fruitshakes were lovely. Free bicicles awailable.
