Posada San Sebastián is a hidden gem in Antigua Guatemala. The owners Luis and Hugo as well as the small staff are wonderful. They will go above and beyond to ensure your stay in their hotel is a wonderful experience. The hotel is like a museum with amazing antiques from all over Guatemala, collected over a 30year period. The hotel is just around the corner from the best bakery and just a couple of blocks from Central Park

A comfortable and unique property
I had a very pleasant 3-night stay at Posada San Sebastian. The hotel is a great value and very well-located, within easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. My room was comfortable and spacious, with lots of storage space and [notably] excellent hot water and water pressure in the shower/bath! The common areas are great - uniquely decorated, cozy, and inviting. The roof-top terrace is a great feature, where I enjoyed the excellent view while doing yoga. My favorite part about staying here was the staff. They are all so kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay and easy transfers to/from the hotel. Exceptional customer service! I hope to stay at Posada San Sebastian again in future visits to Antigua. Highly recommended.

Great location, quick walk from the arch and the square. Rate is so reasonable considering it is located at the center of Antigua. Staff were all friendly and caring! When The shuttle bus I was waiting for did not come Hugo contacted the operator to clarify some things for me. They go above and beyond! The room was clean, though things were outdated and there was no AC or fan in the room, it didn’t bother me. This place has a lot of cute decor throughout the property and it was so charming. Highly recommended.

Only spent one night. Everyone was friendly and helpful, even let us check in a little bit early. Lots of antiques to enjoy. If you like an older feel to a place, something authentic, you'd like this place. The shower was also hot and nice.
