Even after asking for many times for hot water. The tap was gushing cold water only and hotel staff did not pay any heed on that and bathroom outlet was choked and i made requests many times to get that fixed but no respite. When a traveller pays around 3200 rupees for a night and gets embarrassing hotel like this . I think i should think over about booking from expedia. Pathetic experience.

The Hotel was nothing like the pictures, it was noisy with trains passing through the night. The room was dirty, and badly maintained, the window and shower were broken. The breakfast was poor, and its staff unhelpful. The staff at reception were lifeless and although inoffensive, completely useless. We tried to get a refund for our overpriced 4 night booking, it took us 5 hours of argueing with firstly the hotel manager, and then Treebo, who were non cooperative, and tried very hard to get out of their 100% money back guarantee policy. We booked with Suraj Haveli in the old city for our other 3 nights, which we would highly recommend.

Too noisy
You are next to railway and the trains are running all night so very noisy. Breakfast is set up for Indians and not westerners. Big supermarket and ATM next door.

Ok for a night if you need somewhere cheap
We booked here because the price was right. It was very cheap, the room was big, breakfast was ok, and it was close enough to sights for relatively cheap taxis around town. The room wasn't very clean: there were used feminine hygiene products in the bathroom, garbage under the bed, a "quality assured" sticker on the bathroom wall that a previous guest must have removed from a product and put on the wall, all of which suggested it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned (or even tidied) in a while. The bathroom had paradichlorobenzene (urinal pucks) in the sink, so the room smelled like a public men's room. And there was a loud pigeon colony right outside the window. The tv and aircon didn't work when I arrived, but the staff was quick to fix it. If they sort out the cleanliness issues, it'll be a much more comfortable hotel.

Really nice place, clean room and sheets, warm water, good wi-fi, friendly staff - even if their english was limited. Close to the railway but a bit from ex clock tower ~ 25 min walk.
