The hotel needs update and the area used to be nice but now it’s a little strange, you’ll see Lot of homeless around. However it’s good located, clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Great budget hotel
Great hotel in the heart of the city. Easy to get everywhere. Friendly service. Great breakfast. Comfortable room, but beware the lower 4 or 5 floors and even number rooms 4 through 8, eg. 208. There's 2 gigantic neon signs across the street, although they do turn off between midnight and 8am. Neighborhood has theaters, some restos, coffee shops, and several nearby metro stations. On main street so safe- ish at night. Recommended.

Ibis fantastic value and service
Amazing value and location. Very clean and you can use the sister hotel facilities next door for the pool,garden,restaurant etc. Which was also excellent and I am speaking from a very disabled persons point of view. The buffet was not too be missed, service everywhere reception, restaurant, foyer welcomer ...because they were more than doormen, was fantastic. The location is in the heart of theatre land and a useful supermarket Carr four two blocks away. Bus stop outside central to getting around. The hotel offers great tours and transfers at very good value. I did the long tour of BA for 22 usd! Small minibus and excellent guide.
