We reserved because we knew that they have late check-inn. Our plane was retarde and we arrived around 2 o’clock in the night. We knocked at the door and we call 3 times and we had no answer. So we had to find with difficulty an another place to sleep.SO IT WAS A VERY BAD EXPERRIENCE AND WE WON’T PAY FOR THAT NIGHT IN THAT HOTEL.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Nostos. Our room overlooked the sea and was well furnished and immaculately clean. Everyone was extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was great. Great location with beach literally 20ft away! Thoroughly recommend.

Sadly not as good as previous visit
We had previously stayed at Nostos in 2019, and decided to book their Junior Suite for this trip to make it special. Unfortunately it wasn't quite as special as we had hoped. The check-in process wasn't what I would have expected for having booked their best room - we were given the keys and waved in the vague direction. We got to the room, which was spacious with a lovely big terrace and hot tub, but unfortunately there were no instructions on how to work it, offers to help with this, and it was pretty grubby. We had to clean it first before working out how to use it. The bathroom was showing signs of not having been cleaned very thoroughly - grime in the shampoo/shower gel stand, and everything looked a little worn. Unbeknownst to me, my partner intended on proposing the second day we arrived, and asked at reception if there was anything they were able to do to assist - flowers or such, and was given a firm 'no'. Again, considering the cost we spent on booking their best room, he was quite upset. We aren't usually extravagant people, so were hoping for a bit of luxury. I'm hoping all these niggles are due to Covid having been tough on the hotel, however I don't think we'll visit again, sadly.

Excellent facilities and style, well kept gardens, nice pools and next to the beach. The room was nicely furnished, modern and comfortable. A buffet breakfast was offered which you could enjoy on the veranda overlooking the sea. A buffet dinner was also provided with an extra small charge but we did not tried it. Overall a very nice stay in a very nicely designed hotel.

Hotel is a gem. Beautifully decorated.Helen and her husband were the most welcoming hotel proprietors that we have ever come across and we stay in 50 plus hotels a year. Staff especially the young ladies in the restaurant were so hardworking and helpful.

Excellent stay
We had an excellent stay at Nostos during our family holiday in July. Most helpful and kind personnel I’ve ever seen, perfect location by the beach, clean and comfortable room, nice swimming pool, super tasty food at the restaurant. There are also many restaurants and bars in the area and location is good for visiting the island either with a rental bar or with organised excursions. Highly recommend !
