"Novotel in the uk was never appealing to me, I always saw it as a rubbish budget hotel. That is until I stayed in Novotel Makkah. Firstly just the aesthetics alone are luxury. Never would you associate this type of hotel with basic or budget. I could not believe Novotel could have these types of hotels like the 1 in Makkah. The food is something spectacular but what makes this hotel the best I’ve ever stayed in, in my 40mins of life was the staff. "Excellent hotel, great value and distance to new extension of haram is about 10-15 min walk, but to walk to Mataf area is an additional 10-15 mins. Rooms are decent size and staff attentive. Breakfast is good and varied . Near to local shops and across the road from Bin Laden mosque. No gym, which is only disappointment. Great value and highly recommend. "
