Hotel St. Philip

"This place is a real gem. Yes there are bits that are a little tired but aren’t there in all hotels. However it is clean and charming right from Trudy in house keeping to Michelle at the bar with her fabulous rum tasting. Drinks are named brands and delivers with a smile. The restaurant is al a carte all meals and the staff are charming attentive and well trained to the extent that they serve from the left and clear from the right! Wasted on half the clientele who cannot read a dress code. The food is a mix of Bajan and international full of flavour and delightful. If there is something you require ask don’t moan! If you are looking for sausage beans and chips don’t come here you’re not going to get it. The pool is small however you are five yards from the beach and the beautiful Caribbean Sea which is warm and calm why come all this way and sit by a pool? Maintenance will also erect a parasol for you on the beach all you have to do is ask, sunbeds a plenty on the beach. This is without doubt one of the best holidays we’ve had, from all round the world and fifth visit to Barbados. Relaxed and recharged ready to earn some more money to return."

" The room was clean and modern and very comfortable but my favorite was the bed. It was super comfortable; so much so that it felt like I was sleeping on air. The staff were also super helpful. The shuttle was an added bonus. I did not take the shuttle to the hotel and our taxi driver got lost. So make sure you let the hotel know your arrival details so that the shuttle would be available. "

"The Crane exceeded our expectations in every way. The facilities are so well considered that there is nothing I would change or ask for. The vistas are breathtaking and have now made The Crane Barbados on our annual list of vacation stops. Next year we are bringing the whole extended family. You can choose to be with other guests at one of the many pools or just spend time with your friends and family in your private pool. We were wowed!"

"Very beautiful resort with really good food. The resort is actually impeccably clean. The rooms are gorgeous. The staff was extremely attentive. Just be careful when booking. I booked for 2 and noticed day before departure that the booking had somehow changed to a booking for 1 person, but at the same price for two! It was a little horrific as I had to pay considerably more upon arrival! Significantly more. Now I have a small claims court date to contend with. Very unfortunate. But the resort was a good one. I’ve been to many… it’s up there. "

"This was a beautiful space for us to relax in! The staff was helpful, friendly, and great with suggestions. The space is both modern and relaxed, clean, and generally well-kept. Beach view from the balcony was a favorite for reading and quick calls during the week. We saw a couple of monkeys on the roof next door one morning. The pool is small and shallow, but useable. There is a workout room as well. The lovely public beach nearby has both a more relaxed and surf side, with bathroom and shower amenities onsite. Keep an eye out for the turtles that swim near the guard tower on the bayside! We were out daily to enjoy the sea, and the community vibe. Food at Remous is mostly good to excellent, but the desserts were a bit sketchy. Service was fabulous, and bar service was a delight! This area isn’t very trendy/busy, but it’s a quick walk to Oistins, and easy to grab a bus or taxi. The sister resort, Accra, is more centrally located, so just grab the shuttle there to shop, if desired. Absolutely enjoyed our stay, and would book here again! "
