"First time staying in the mountains in a cottage! Did not dissapoint! The ease of check in all by text! very friendly and helpful! Cottage was great! Everything you need (kitchenette, utensils, dishes) charcoal grill in front no stove. Make sure to bring beverages and food to grill! Pool and recreation area was very nice! Clubhouse has games and tv! I will definitely be back!"

"I can’t really rate the staff because the front desk was closed when we arrived. The front desk person was sick and we didn’t have interaction with her. This property was very clean and neat. It’s close to Big Trees and there are several restaurants in the area. I would recommend this property . "

Though the bed was a bit lumpy, the sheets were clean and we slept well. The continental breakfast was convenient and the coffee was great! Check out was just as pleasant as check in. Super lovely staff that runs this historic landmark hotel, which is conveniently located within short walking distance to nice eateries and restaurants, as well as adorable shops in Sonora"

"The community of people in the area are very friendly, it was safe and a quiet place to sleep. Local food spots were close by and areas we visited where only 30mins away. Perfect place for our small family to stay. "

The breakfast is served at 9 am so you can't just grab it and go if you're there for sightseeing. But the food is wonderful! Interesting history behind the house which the host shares.
