Nothing stands out about this property. It is plain but functional. It is an old commercial building that has been converted into a number of individual rooms, all on the second floor. It is a facility that clearly has been converted and is still in the process of updating and conversion. There is a single, large common room (lobby) on which all the bedrooms face. When we arrived, the lobby was dark, hot, and had a very strong musty smell--we attribute that to poor ventilation. This room also has a small refrigerator, a small kitchen sink, and a microwave oven. No coffeemaker. There is a complete set of dinnerware and glasses. The bedroom we had was clean and small but functional. The queen size bed was comfortable. There was a small set of shelves and a night stand. The bathroom has a small shower, sink, and toilet. There is no staff on site but did respond fairly quickly at the phone numbers given. Overall this is a good place if small but functional and relatively inexpensive meets you needs.

Do NOT rent this property!!!! It smells like cockroach chemical killer. The quality of this place is an "F-". The service is non-existent. The owner wouldn't talk to me or even text me unless I had WhatsApp. I had to have the owner of the laundromat across the street call him. That laundromat owner said "This happens all the time." I am a guy, pretty tough guy too and I was afraid to stay there. Noone is at the property at all and there are multi-units. This place should be removed from the market. Yep, it is that bad. And to call it a hotel is laughable. I had to drive 30 mins at night on very dangerous mountain roads to find another place. Aibonito Hotel should be shut down. Ok, I made my point. Saving you a nightmare.

Everything was all right. I liked very much the comunal area in front of the private rooms. Gives you the opportunity to know others staying! Would have liked a faster Internet. Took us a lot of time to watch a movie!

Scared out of my mind
When I arrived at the property it was at night, the property looked abandoned, no lights, no one was on site, there were no other cars in the parking spots, I thought I had been scammed and this could not possibly be the hotel. The hotel sign was torn and hanging. The main door had a hole that you can literally put your hand in and open the lock to the door from the outside. I reached them by phone and they guided me to a lockbox where I could access the keys to both entry to the property and the room. Me and my husband were so scared to stay at this place, we were the only ones there at the time. The room was disgusting, all sorts of hair on the bed sheets and on the floor. The room looked filthy, I was so disgusted I put the towels on the bed to sleep on. I hardly slept this night, I was so scared, the place didn’t look safe. I would NEVER recommend this place. It was an experience I don’t want anyone else have to go through such a scare. This property should not be listed at any hotel site, pictures were very deceiving. Please look elsewhere when looking for a hotel in this area.

The hot water didn't work in the shower and the knob on the sink fell off in my hands. But it did have hot water. Overall an adequate place to stay for one night when transitioning from one area of the island to the next. Make sure to arrive before sundown because this is in the mountains and the roads are dark and winding. There wasn't much around but the bar across the street was open when I arrived. It's next to a cemetery so the neighborhood is very quiet. Best part is that it is close to the Aguas Termales de Coamo.

The room was clean. It’s a very loud atmosphere. Cars and music blaring. Not very silent after 7am. On the last day we could not shower or use bathroom because the whole hotel got flooded.

Good option to stay at Aibonito, PR
The room was clean and comfortable. I'm not sure if it is the only hotel in Aibonito but it is a good option. No hot water, only fresh (ambient temperature) water available in the shower. Air conditioner working perfect. Amenities are good (shampoo, conditioner, soap that's it), clean towels. It serves the purpose of our trip.

Once you stay here you're stranded unless you have a car. Also if you don't speak Spanish I suggest you stay in a more urbanized environment.

Volvería a contactarlos. Gracias.

Está bien para pasar un dia o dos. La fachada necesita ser mejoradas y las ventanas limpiadas. Las escaleras también necesitan ser limpiadas. Adentro del hotelito todo está bastante limpio y organizado
