Did not even stay. There was cops in the parking lot when we arrived so we went up the road to holiday inn. Not a place to stay for a family vacation. Any review that says this place is any good is fake.

Worst experience ever
Couldn’t even stay there .the front wasn’t even open due to no heat . It was more of a crack house than anything else . Tried to get a refund but they still won’t pick up the phone or answer their email. Don’t stay or live there.

Do NOT Stay Here
Let's start with the fact that nobody was there to check us in at 11:20 pm. We had to call the main number, then wait, then wait some more, recall the main number, and then I had to go to one of the rooms and bang, not just knock on the door where the on-duty manager was. When the manager finally checked us in he took a photo copy of the license and my credit card. Do not stay here unless you absolutely love roaches, we were killing them all night. I even woke up with one crawling around my hand. The microwave looked like it was picked up from a junkyard. When we turned on the water in the sink it just leaked out the drain pipe onto the floor. The AC unit is a heater as well, and was held in place by cardboard and duct tape. There were only sheets on the beds no blankets anywhere in the room. Then, at checkout there was no one at the front desk to check us out and the lobby door was locked, even though it was after 9am, so we had to leave the key in the room.

no hotel room available despite confirmation
I booked a room for my family. I received a confirmation number and proof of reservation. I called the morning of my reservation to inform front desk we’d be checking in late (8pm). The employee said no problem bc someone would be at the front desk until 10pm to check us in. When we arrived at 8pm I was told there was no room available. The employee had no explanation. She was rude and did not apologize for the major inconvenience. We could not find another hotel in Williamsburg. We had to drive 20 miles away to find closest hotel room in Newport News.

Disgusting and Atrocious
I checked in after a long time just trying to get a key card. Went into the room and found it completely unnade and trashed. A flood if water on the floor and water blowing from the ceiling. Went back to reception tossed my card on the counter and told them I about the room condition in front of many others checking in and told them I want a refund. The w ol man just nodded and shrugged. This was after a previous guest, after just getting his key card, went to his room, came back and tossed his card on the counter proclaiming someone else was already in the room. Not only should I get a full refund, I should be compensated for the room I finally got at an exorbitant rate because everything in the area was sold out.

You should absolutely avoid this property. The few guests there appear to be individuals without permanent housing. Towels, soap, even a trash can were not in the room. Dead and live insects. No TV Apparently because the cable bill was unpaid by the owner. It is a dive. You truly do get what you pay for.

Fraud
This is not an operating hotel/motel. Do not book! The police were called to assist us when we arrived because there was no room and no means to get a refund. The staff said they were closed because they are on fire watch. Their fire monitoring company dropped them, the rear of the building is condemned, per the police, and after all of that, another staff member demanded we check-in, or we cannot apply for a refund. There is definitely fraud happening, and hotels.com refused to assist us because they claim they cannot confirm what I am telling them versus what the staff told them on a call. This all happened with tropical storm Debby in the background, with 7 kids and a dog in the car. The staff locked the lobby door when we stepped outside to make a few phone calls. I've already made a claim with the BBB, hopefully this location will not dupe another.

We arrived to this hotel to check in after a long day. We were informed that this hotel did not have the accommodations as advertised on the website. The website was very misleading. Needless to say we did not stay here and will not be recommending this to anyone else. Here we were 4 hours from home rushing to find a room to accommodate 7 guests. It was a terrible experience.
