What an amazing hotel and service! We have been to Cliveden House before - for afternoon tea, for dinner, and just to visit the grounds. But this time we decided to treat ourselves and booked a Club Room for an overnight stay, as it was our anniversary. But what an amazing surprise - we got upgraded to a Junior Suite, got a bottle of prosecco, a piece of cake and a hand-written greeting card! The suite we were given was Sutherland, which is absolutely gorgeous - with an enormous working fireplace and a humongous bed made us feel like royalty. Big thanks to Cliveden and hotel manager Jordan for making our stay so special.

Cliveden House was the most beautiful and luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in. From the amazing service, beautiful property and grounds, excellent food, and fine bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us in the room to begin celebrating our anniversary, everything was top notch. Amazing property and friendly staff. Ate in the Astor grill which was good but service and menu could be improved. Some items with meat/fish in their description listed as vegetarian, which other seemingly vegetarian items like a beetroot ravioli not marked as vegetarian and the waiting staff were equally confused about it. VIP amenity of a bottle of very nice English Sparkling Wine was lovely. No Gold member room upgrade mentioned, if not possible would be good to let the guest know, although there was room availability that evening on the website.
