The place is run by some Middle Easterners to their home standards and not local ones. To our objection that the room was not as shown on Expedia site, they claimed other rooms were already taken. The room itself was just an extended attic niche poorly furnished (see pictures).
The metal beds were very squeaky. Installed smoke alarm was suspiciously dead and not flashing as usual which made me think of spy cams. After checking it proved to be deliberately made dysfunctional. Fire escape ladder was loosely chained to the window frame (see pictures).
Our breakfast was a bun, a tiny croissant, two slices of German wurst, a slice of cheese and some marmalade, served with awfully cold coffee. Only paid parking is available. We asked for the invoice
which was confronted with resistance and we were finally promised to receive it by post, so far nothing. This seems like an attempt to evade IRS.
