Very pleasant stay!
Older hotel that has lots of character. Bathrooms have been upgraded recently and staff was very nice and helpful. Location is excellent to access lots of different types of food and shopping on foot.

The experience was great other than I noticed on the bed under sheet protector... there was some dark spots visible and I pulled back the sheet to find dark red small splatters of blood on the mattress.

I would stay here again.
Perfect location to go shopping. The hotel is has a lot of character, a bit old but well maintained. The room and bathroom are simple and comfortable. There is not a real breakfast… only yogurts, tiny muffins and bad coffee. However, the breakfast room is absolutely beautiful if you like older architecture. Great English pub!
Chantal, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Could be a fantastic hotel with a lot of tlc, let themselves down with lack of information from how to get into parking area to where breakfast room is! The characters hanging around outside the adjacent pub(which is part of hotel) were suspicious at best, the vlt seems to attract them and have to fight through them to get in to pub. It is a quaint hotel with history but could do with lick of paint everywhere . Food in pub was tasty and good choice of beer but don’t expect peace and quiet at weekends

Donna, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great place. Close to everything. Only criticism is what they called a 'continental breakfast' was misleading as there was only fruit, yogurt, and bran muffins.
