In the heart of Los Mártires, Plaza de Bolívar offers a convenient retreat. Unwind with a sauna session or dine at the on-site restaurant. Previous guests appreciated its proximity to Bacata and modern amenities like an elevator and meeting rooms.
Bacata puts you just a 5-minute drive from Plaza de Bolívar and Monserrate. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, and the sauna makes for a relaxing end to the day. Also, Corferias Bogota and U.S. Embassy Bogotá are within a short drive. The property is just a short walk to public transportation: La Sabana de Bogotá Station is 10 minutes away.

Great value for money
Located very well, good value for money. A little bit outdated furniture (not bothering at all), but a brand new hotel is in the process of bying build. A very good hotel is you want to explore the city.

Good hotel for the price in downtown Bogata
This may not be the most exclusive hotel in downtown Bogata, but it's safe, friendly and colorful. Real Colombians stay here: politicians, attorneys, farmers, Amerindians, teachers, etc. And it's reasonably priced, which includes a decent breakfast. Walk to museums, Plaza Bolivar.

Review of Hotel Bacatá, Bogota
The hotel was very secure and well located. There was much to see and do just walking out the front door. The staff was very helpful and responsive. The Italian restaurant was excellent - the other restaurant in the hotel was mediocre and I avoided it after the first 2 days. The breakfast included was served in this second restaurant and after the 2nd day I avoided it. If you walk out the front door of the hotel and turn left and cross the street, there is an excellent café with wonderful breakfasts. The staff was very helpful in arranging tours for me.
I had a double room and would have preferred larger beds, but the down comforters were great.
