Property is very nice and staff very helpful but we had a lot of difficulty finding the property because roads around the property are closed. Also confusing because the property has two names and reception is not at Albergo Reggio nor are there signs to indicate such.

Centrally located
Very centrally located and a good option from which to explore Reggio Emilia. The hotel itself is quite old but the rooms are decent sized and comfortable.

Right in the city center, clean, friendly staffs
Located right in the center. Check-in and check-out at Hotel Posta, which is one of the most famous hotels in Reggio Emilio and is like about 50m away. Clean and big room. Great bathroom with bidet. Very satisfied with the shower. Highly recommended.

Great location with large and comfortable rooms.
Great location just a few steps from the mail square. Good size comfortable rooms. Check-in and check-out has to be done at the nearby Hotel Posta but it is just on the other side of the square not not an issue. This was our second stay at this hotel and will choose it again next time we need accommodation in Reggio Emilia.

Well located, lots of amenities nearby.
Great location, walking to distance to just about everything.
It should be noted that you cannot check in here as there is no reception desk. You need to go the parent hotel, Hotel Posta for that. But it is just around the corner, easy to find.

Would definitely stay there again
Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was excellent. It's a 15 minute walk to city center; we didn't mind the walk.

Albergo Regio
hidden away in a side road near the centre of town the annex room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. My only small criticism was that the TV only had one English speaking TV channel. Otherwise all was to a high standard.

Hotel Posta Reggio Emillia
Our visit to the area was family reunion. The Hotel is centrally located and surrounded by excellent amenities. However, we had to stay in the annex to Hotel which was not at all ideal, a 5 min walk in rain, room extremely dark due to close proximity to next building. Had to hang out of the window to see what the weather was like! No mirrors in bedroom thought my request for one was strange! High std of cleanliness throughout, excellent breakfast, an extra but worth it! Would return but definitely not in Annex!!

Perfect my needs
The hotel was just what I wanted while I was attending classes in Reggio. It was very private, almost like having my own apartment. The room was clean and the staff were helpful if I had a question. Breakfast in the main hotel Posta had many choices and the staff were attentive.

Great hotel in historic city center.
I loved staying here. The hotel is a dependence of a bigger hotel nearby (Hotel Posta), where one must go to check-in and check-out. Once those formalities are taken care of, residence in Albergo Reggio is like living in an apartment block, including the intercom from which the rooms can be called from the outside. You need a key to open the front gate of the building, then after a few steps there is another security door. There is nobody at the reception once you step inside. The only reason you know you are in a hotel is because you find the room sparkling clean and the towels replaced when you return to it. The room I stayed in was like a suite: the bed was nicely separated from the rest of the room by an alcove, and the TV was also there. The TV had satellite connection as well. The bathroom was nicely fitted.
