A great experience from the beginning. Easy parking across the street. Efficient checkin even when there was a tour bus. Small but comfortable room. Convenient location. Good breakfast and fantastic onsen walkable to everything.

Exceptional hotel with reasonable price
Excellent service, clean and friendly staffs. Beyond our expectations. Night complementary ramen was prepared by in house chef. Welcome drinks with plenty of options. The onsen on rooftop was a bonus especially after a long day of outdoor activities. Will stay again next time we come to Matsumoto.

Nice hotel in great location
We stayed two nights to see the Black Castle. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked their NO Shoe policy. I also took advantage of the laundry facility. As I do not eat raw or cooked Japanese food for breakfast I would have liked more Western choices.

Nice place, but rooms are a bit small. Hotel is catering more to Japanese people, since they don’t bother to put a sign of the name of the hotel in English. I can only assume they prefer non-foreign guests… Bath is nice and breakfast is nice too.

Caring, Helpful and Professional Staff
The hotel is amazingly good. Near the Matsumoto train station and the Matsumoto bus terminus. Hot spring bath and late night snack are very good. Also I am writing to thank a particular young front desk male staff.(Forgive me for forgetting his Japanese name) I left my passport in the last hotel. He contacted my previous hotel and helped to arrange the delivery of my passport from the last hotel to this hotel. He was caring, professional and helpful. This attribute was also shared by other front desk staff. Thank you again.

I gave it 5 stars
The onsen (woman) has both indoor n outdoor pool plus cold bath. They provided all the amenities one would need. Front desk services were good. They helped with filling out forms for luggage forwarding. Welcome drink after checkout and ramen at night for free. Room was very clean. About 5 mins walk from Matsumoto station. We simply walk around to do tourist stuff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Aduminoyu Onyado in Matsumoto. It felt very homey and comfortable. The fact you don’t wear shoes in the hotel and can wear your supplied loungewear anywhere probably had a lot to do with that. Despite that relaxed vibe, t still maintains an upmarket feel over its sister brand Dormy Inn yet shares a lot of the same perks like the free late evening ramen. The hotel felt brand new and was spotless throughout our stay. The breakfast was surprisingly nice quality and variety so we’d definitely recommend taking that option The rooftop onsen was also above expectation with a nice outdoor area. We’d highly recommend this hotel.
