Horrible Experience at ITC Colombo - Avoid!
I recently stayed at ITC Colombo, expecting a top-tier experience from a newly opened five-star hotel, but it was an absolute nightmare. Despite booking a suite and being charged an outrageous $80 for early check-in, the service was abysmal.
The buffet was closed at lunch, and my daughter couldn't even get apple juice. Adding insult to injury, they refused to add our restaurant bill to our room bill, forcing us to pay in cash, and did not honor a $30 discount we had. Complaints to the management about these issues were completely ignored.
To top it all off, they denied our request for a late check-out despite offering to pay extra. Coming from the UK, this was a massive disappointment, and I would not recommend ITC Colombo to anyone looking for quality service.
Save your money and stay elsewhere!
