I feel like I can't really complain about this hotel for the price. The location is convenient - it's a 7 minute walk to the tram that is one stop from the airport, so it's super convenient. That walk is through a bit of a sketchy part of town though, and it's a rough walk with luggage. But that same tram takes you directly downtown in 20 minutes, so that's a huge plus.
That being said, the hotel is run-down and doesn't feel very safe. The front desk staff were friendly, the room was clean enough, but it is bare-bones when it comes to amenities. The shower would not drain and we couldn't leave the water on long enough for it to get warm and not fill up the shower stall. There are no shelves to set your stuff on in the bathroom or hooks to hang towels. There is no phone in the room and the internet was very slow. The walls are thin and there were some interesting characters in the hotel hallway. But it was a GREAT deal for us since we had an early flight out the next day and only really needed a bed to sleep in. We spent most of our money at a nicer hotel earlier in our trip.
Bottom line - if you are a seasoned traveler who is used to spartan hotel conditions and are looking to save money, this place is ok. I'd compare it to a hostel. Anything beyond that, and you will be VERY unhappy with this hotel!
