The hotel is situated in the hood. It doesn’t seem safe at night. There is no closet, no drawers, and hangers. Definitely no desk or table. You are forced to keep your stuff on the floor. The sink is not inside the bathroom. It’s very tiny in the room. I tried to cancel the rest of my stay but the front desk lady refused and claimed it was the hotel policy. That lady was unprofessional and very rude. She worked the shift of Saturday morning. She left the front desk for breakfast or something like that and I had to wait more than 30 min with hotels.com customer service on the phone. The only positive thing I can say about the hotel, it’s clean, and it looks like it was renovated recently. My recommendation, AVOID staying here.

The property is very nice. I really loved the room! But there are caveats. The hotels in this area are simultaneously used to house transient individuals within the nyc shelter system. The area is extremely sketchy and if you’re not comfortable walking around being near drug addicts arguing and screaming at each other then it’s probably best not to stay in this area. I personally don’t care as long as my accommodation is nice and the inside of the building is safe, which it was. The subway is right around the corner so extremely easy to get too and from. I only stayed for a quick overnight and would not stay there for an actual vacation but would stay again for another night passing through .

The elevator was not working. Had to walk up six flight of stairs. WIFI didn’t work!! TV was so small with such a big space. The water in the shower was too hot. no way of controlling it, it was either that or freezing cold. Staff at the front desk said check out was at 2 pm but there was a small sign stating it was at 11am $30 extra for later checkout. They tried to get more money. I must say that the bed was very comfortable. Only good part of the stay 😊

This is not a 5 star hotel but I knew that when I booked it. For the price I was happy with our stay. 5 min walk to F train that takes you straight into mid town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Asked for extra pillows and towels and they delivered to our room while we were out. Would stay again.

Booked this for a few cheap nights in NYC. Wasn’t expecting much based on the price and area. But was very surprised. Room was excellent and pretty big for a cheap New York room. Comfortable bed. Everything was clean. Staff were great. Location was a couple of blocks from the closest subway. I felt safe all the time coming in and out at night. There are a number of other hotels adjacent. Would stay there again.
