A great place to stay
This is a great, older, hotel to stay in when visiting this area. The rooms have always been clean and there is plenty of space in the rooms. Each time I have stayed there has been a room with a balcony to sit and enjoy the great weather. Pool is nice and their breakfast is above average, compared to most continental breakfasts. We stay here most times in the area.

We had a fantastic time in Encinita. Location is very convenient and very family friendly. Only a walking distance to a very good supermarket, playground, beach and restaurants. This hotel is quite dated so perhaps a lower pricing would be more appropriate, but everything worked, so I would recommend.

Had an ocean view kitchenette. Had everything we needed to cook. Great location and view. Very comfortable and quiet. My only complaint is they have quarter laundry and dont offere quarters at front desk. So i actually went to another hotel to do laundry and also the water vendong machines didnt work.

Not right at the ocean about 10 min walk and definitely heavy freeway noise quite close to freeway. The gym was decent the sauna and pool were clean and good. Lazy Acres health food store across the street. The breakfast was ok. Not great.

Loved that its near two parks like 5 to 10 min walk. One of the parks is on the beach. Leucadia pizza right across as well. The only thing about ealking is that you have to take a small steep hike, but its fun.
