Hotel is located at tourist station, but the map shows at Abisko east station, hotel room is very clean and good equipment, excellent staff and good location, you can see aurora at night, good for sightseeing.

Seeing the Northern Lights was the reason we wanted to come here and the location did not dissapoint! The staff and restaurant were really nice. There were nice trials and hikes super close by. The cherry on top was the grocery store only a 4 min drive away, which was really convenient for easy meals, snacks, and souvenirs. Would definitely stay here again if we were to visit once more.

Stay was awesome. Restaurant food was good but less options and expensive Staff was simply great. Staff was quite helpful and guiding whenever required. Many activities available at the hotel Sauna was amazing at hotel too

Perfect place to stay in Abisko
Abisko Turiststation STF is a great place to stay. It's located close to the train station and offers a variety of rooms from hotel, to hostel, to cabins. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect for us. The one item I will note is that you need to ethier bring your own sheets/sleeping bag or you can rent linnens from the hotel (much like a hostel). I am glad I reached out to them before we arrived so they could inform me of this as it doesn't seem to be listed on hotels.com. Otherwise, this hotel is great, most of the activities pick up at this location. The only other item to note is that this is not in Abisko proper. So if you need to get food from a grocery store, you should bring it with you or plan to walk to the store as there are limited transportation options once you arrive.

The accommodation is really nice. The room very clean, you have everything you need. The public spaces in the lobby are very cozy and inviting to stay. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Great friendly hotel with a nice restaurant and good amenities. Not many options in the area anyways but a good spot for those chasing auroras or doing activities. The only downside are the transfers from Kiruna airport to hotel, you have to book your own and it’s limited what is available. No buses in autumn so had to take an incredibly expensive cab. That aside, had a small shop on site where you can rent or buy winter gear and buy snacks. Restaurant opens for breakfast lunch and dinner. Many hiking trails around and tour packages pick up from hotel which is convenient.

Northern lights were beautiful!
We loved our stay! We stayed two nights and saw the northern lights both nights! We enjoyed hiking around during the day and had plenty to eat at breakfast. We would recommend this place if you’re looking for nature and northern lights!

Clean, warm, quiet room in the heart of Abisko National Park. Northern lights tours pick you up right on the premises. Many hundreds of km of trails with a variety of views around the park right outside the front door. Breakfast buffet was good and the bistro was excellent.
