Not recommended
Room was drafty, Carpets dirty and dusty. No parking. The TV is ancient. In general, this place needs an update.

Fascinating background in an historical building. Quiet and relaxing while being in the thick of the action!
Lynda, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Staff are incredibly helpful. Parking was about 3 blocks away, no big deal, but some social economic problems of the area are an issue to and from.

Kevin, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Property is centrally located in Victoria, plenty to do and see. Our ONLY complaints were the bed was too soft. We kept rolling into each other and we had to run the fan to keep the room cool at night. Please note the dress code in common areas (be prepared). No tennis shoes allowed

Peggy, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

It was great to stay in such a wonderful heritage property and a wonderful experience
Brian, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

No dining due to private party. Few amenities in room.
Jaime, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Parking is inconvenient, access to lobby is convoluted, no help with luggage. Snobbery was on display within the building. The "club" mentality is old fashioned and comical. Room was large, noisy streets below, tiny bathroom with zero counter space. Breakfast was limited and meh. Would not recommend.
ANN, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

A lovely little hideaway leaving one feeling very comfortable with fantastic service, friendly, respectful and very helpful staff.
Garry, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

I would have appreciated having a coffee machine in the room.
Marilee, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and we really loved this hotel. The location was perfect and it was easy to walk anywhere in the city. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It was very warm the day we were in Victoria and our room got a little bit warm overnight, but we were OK with the fan provided. The only downside was we needed to have the windows open for cool air and so in the morning we were woken by the sun and the seagulls. The seagulls are very loud in the city. We loved exploring the hotel, which is so beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we had about the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, who is staying in Victoria!
Kaysie, 2-night trip

This hotel was so great. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was amazing along with the character with such an old hotel! Having the original elevator with metal grates and wooden door was so fun! We really enjoyed our stay!
Dorothy, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The parking was a hassle
