I had reservations for two different rooms over a period of three nights (the first room for the initial two nights and a second room for the third night). Unfortunately, I fell ill during my stay and required additional time in the room to rest. The second room I booked was intended for one person but featured a double bed (similar to the first room, which was booked for two people).
When it was time to switch rooms, despite informing the staff of my illness and my willingness to pay for a late check-out, I was repeatedly disturbed by knocks on my door and phone calls to my room. I was placed in a single bedroom, contrary to my booking for a double bed. Notably, the first room I occupied was vacant on my third night, meaning they could have allowed me to remain there and rest.
This experience was profoundly disappointing and fell far short of acceptable customer service standards. I will not be returning to Hotel Avenue.
