Hotel under remodel, bar and restaurant closed
The website showed there was a restaurant and bar. It is only open in the Summer. I would not have stayed there had I known it was closed. This is false advertisement, a blatant bait and switch, and I will not stay there again.

Under construction and dirty
Hotel is still under a lot of construction. Elevator was broken and they didn’t have any first floor rooms so my brother with accessibility difficulties had a really hard time getting up the stairs to the rooms. Bathroom was still very dirty, tub was not clean, and floors were falling apart. Beds and room space was in good condition and looked newly renovated. Hallways, lobby, breakfast area was original and very dirty, stains every where. Construction started at about 6am so it was very noisy. There was a gap between the door and the floor so you could hear other guests snoring from different rooms. Overall not a good hotel at all but for one quick night stay on a road trip like us it was ok. Do not take a family vacation here.

Yellowstone Inn is going through a major renovation and change of management and ownership. This isn't disclosed when booking the room not is there any mention of it on their website. The place looked closed, but after getting through to the main desk, we were received by a very nice gentleman who explained that there was no elevator and no rooms available on the first floor. He asked if we wanted to check the room first, which we did. The hall was a mess with drywall mud and paint all over the carpet but the room was clean and spacious. It was fine for a quick place to sleep and very inexpensive.

Site is under construction and in terrible condition! Room was under construction (hopefully) bed dropped when getting into it, mattress sunk in the center, so you rolled into it no matter what!
Expedia was/is extremely lax in rating this property and definitely needs to up their game!!!
Will no use wxpedia in the future!!!

Kudos to this Hotel!
I'm only deducting a few stars because they are in the middle of remodeling. I plan on being back to give them 5 when they are all finished. The room was beautifully done. The hallways are still in the middle of the process. The staff were friendly and helpful. The overall vibe was pleasant. I cant wait to see what they do with the place. Hotels.com should give these guys some sort of an award honestly for customer retention. Had it not been for this place and the staff, we would have dropped this app in a heartbeat. We habe since downloaded another app, but it won't stop us from staying here when we are passing through.

Only if you are desperate for a place to sleep...
Pulling in to the parking lot we weren't even sure if it was open. Scaffolding, plastic covering the windows, yellow safety tape everywhere...
Inside it was obvious they were under a remodel. Room had been "remodeled" but was still uninviting. We asked to be near an exit and we were. An unlit steep staircase with no way back in/no key card so access to parking lot was difficult. No rooms on first floor, no elevator.
Livingston is close to Yellowstone but make other arrangements.
The staff was very nice, breakfast was good but the total environment was not very comfortable.
