The property is under renovation, and they don't let you know about the amenities, like their pool, and restaurants. The noise of the construction starts early, the workers are cutting down trees with chainsaws in the morning.
Upstairs we had a family, that stepped so hard, that it knocked down the light cover in one of the bathrooms.
My room was so 1980s it smelled like mold.
We bought a room deodorizer to help with the smell.
We lost power in the middle of the night, and the room was so hot.
I'm aware they gave me an upgrade, at no charge, but it was right in front of the pool.
I mean the resort is so big. I could have been on an area without the construction traffic.
It was also my birthday (60) and the Dempsey bar told me they were closed, while having two customers sitting there.
The bell men and valets are the only part that was worth it.
I'm never coming back, letting my friends know how it went at Saddlebrook resort .
