Hotel Route Inn Kami-Suwa is an old-school style hotel that is close to Suwa lake! Inside you will find an indoor Onsen where you can bath in certain hours. In the morning you get complimentary American-style buffet for breakfast. The building is old and so are the staff, but there still is charm coming from this Hotel.

Everything was great except wifi. Wifi didn't work while I was staying. It was just one night and I had data roaming package so it was ok.

Nice little hotel off the beaten path.
By Japanese standards it wasn't the cleanest, but compared to hotels in most countries it was still exceptional. There was a stain/spill on my duvet cover and a few areas needed a good dusting. Bed and pillow were a little hard (in typical Japanese fashion, but with no alternatives on hand). Hotel is close to Kami Suwa Station, in a quiet area, great for visiting Lake Suwa
