Highly Recommend Staying Here!

This was our first time staying at Calypso Cay! We enjoyed our stay! Room was very comfortable and clean! Loved the Property! Rooms was spacious! Property was clean n well taken care of and quiet and relaxing! Near local shopping such as Walmart and Publix and alot of other food places and shopping and gas stations! The Property has security that walks around the Property! Old Town and FunSpot Kissimmee 4 minute drive away from Property! Staff was friendly upon my arrival after 10pm! Will be staying here again! And would highly recommend staying at this Property!

The property is pretty, we use any of the resort / pools. We travel to Kissimmee frequently and know the area but locating the actual road to drive into was confusing. Our sliding glass door to the patio didn’t lock - we were on the fifth floor so not a major concern though. The room was nice

Great place minus the ants

The complex itself is absolutely adorable. Everything I was hoping for in our quick little one night stay. The two bedroom villa is dated, but suitable. Was a birthday trip for my teenage son with a friend, so the two bedrooms worked out perfectly. It was conveniently located to many attractions in Orlando. My only complaint is that the kitchen had sugar ants which is disgusting. That said, if the ant situation was resolved, I would happily stay here again. Great place for kids.

Roaches, bad ac, bad water heater 😒

The day we checked in the person on the front desk seemed like she did not know what she was doing... did not provide any information about the place I ended up getting my bands for the pool the next day it was our understanding we had access to everything in the hotel but we had to pay for the zip line, rock climbing etc...$ 5 per ride or $16 for a day. The room furniture and kitchen cabinets were not clean worts of all over the week we had to get rid of a few roaches. Water heater was a hit or miss and so was the ac . Pools are nice but no lifeguards at all one kid almos drowned when we were there.

Did not realize that this was a Vacation Club, so beware that sales attempts are made. Room was clean, they do give you a passcode for WIFI but it would be nice if you had access to a printed list of what channels are available. Surrounding area was found to be clean and well maintained. We only stayed for a long weekend due to a medical appointment on Monday. Weather was great but we did not use any of the amenities. Office staff, where you do check-in, were great, professional, courteous and fun.

The water in the Villas did not taste good from the sink. There was no filter in the fridge or even just a Britta/filtered sink water. Also, the hot water was very minimal in the Hotel. The hot tub outside, the large one, was not working at all during most of our stay. Other than that stuff, great place. The sleep was really good. It was quiet. AC was perfect.

The unit we were in was old and needed up dating. Door jam when you ealked in. Main bathtub old and dirty. Only one night table for main bedroom. They used flat sheets for bed not fitted and kept coming off.
