Our visit was unforgettable. We highly recommend Mango Home Riverside. The grounds are charming with beautiful gardens. The vibe is so peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We took a cooking class which was great fun. We also did a tour that included a brick making operation, a coconut processing plant, the making of rice paper, and got to see rice paper made and try to make some ourselves in a small village home a short bike ride from the resort. There was a fun ride thru the countryside on a tsuk tsuk (spelling?) seeing local villagers, rice patties, coconut farms and much more.
We stopped and had tea and coconut candy at a local home. Our guide was so informative and the tour was truly the personal experience Mango strives for since it was just my mother and I on our travels thru the Ben Tre area. We enjoyed it so much. Our stay at Mango was one of the highlights of our trip in Vietnam. The food was delicious and the view of the river and lush green of the surrounding area and gardens was spectacular, especially at sunset. The pool is peaceful with dragonflies buzzing around playfully.
