"We had an all inclusive stay in July 2023. Staff was friendly, food ok,,drinks good, nice and clean pools. Frequently changed linens and towels. Good experience at the beach restaurant as well. The thing that really pulls the overall experience downwards is the beds, that we slept in in our

room. They were uncomfortable to lay in because they were so hard, no topmadress, so we slept very poorly the whole week. The beds are the only reason why we won’t come back to this hotel. "

"As a female lone traveller i tried to contact Lido Star, Plus Hotels and Expedia regarding the appauling recent trip advisor reviews of this hotel. Make sure you check dates of reviews in 2020 it seemed fine. In 2024 people are sent to other hotels, there were pics of blood on the sheets etc. As i was arriving in the dark , called and emailed for reassurance - no response. What would you do as i had already paid. Nobody cares, not Expedia, not the Lido Star, not Plus Hotels the parent company. I...

"Disappointed. Cannot be compared to other 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. The main building was good but lacked atmosphere in communal areas. Location was excellent, right on the beach and only a short walk to bars and restaurants. Pool area was very good and clean. Rooms tired looking need upgrading. Water in shower was not consistent, went from cold to scolding without warning. Bath water was brown ! Room cleaners were very friendly. Sister hotel Apollo Beach was a 4 * which had much more...

"Food was ok, nothing special. Pools were nice but would have been great with older children. Pool water was clean and warm. Not enough sun beds. Room needed to be updated and the bed was horribly hard and hurt to sleep in. Pillows were comfortable, room was spacious and air conditioning worked well! Small fridge in the room was nice. We had a bath tub and when we emptied it after using it, it spilled smelly water from the floor drain and there was no way to clean it by ourselves. Biggest...
