Although there was a water leak in one of our rooms due to the heavy rains, the hosts were very quick to help us out. The view from the building is absolutely stunning, and I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Jiufen."

"Lovely quiet property. There are a few nice hiking trails nearby and the ocean is only a 20 minute walk away. Tony and his wife are lovely people. They are very friendly and took care of our needs and answered all of our questions. Tony even gave us a ride to the old street and to the Gold museum. Highly recommend and would stay here again. "

But as many mentioned, convenient for night market as just across the main road. Food is convenient nearby with variety. May take a fair bit of distant if come by MRT on foot or cruise. Just ask around where is the night market and you can find the hotel. "
