The area is so stunning - views to the ocean and bay and the highlight was a boat trip to see the dolphins in the bay. "

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night and it was lovely. Our room was super cozy and the adobe concept was amazing.
We also had dinner at the hotel and the food was pretty good!

"We attended the Setubal Live Score Film Festival, and this hotel was within walking distance of both of the film venues and the train station. It’s also just across the street from a park filled with whimsical statues, as well as the town’s soccer stadium. The a la carte dinner in the hotel’s restaurant was quite good, and the breakfast buffet was satisfying. I was a bit disappointed with the size of the indoor pool, but the water temperature and cleanliness of the whole

"Cute hotel inside but drove past several times because we didn’t even know it was a hotel. Outside could use some sprucing up. Staff were amazing and helpful. Very near but not in downtown Setubal, a 5 minute drive and super easy. Room was small but had everything else we needed. Good breakfast for a bit extra. "

"The property and views are stunning. The food wonderful. The sauna and beach access are great.
Depending on your needs you should know:
Some rooms require stairs to access (plus an elevator - need both) so if anyone in your party is elderly or disabled, fyi to request a room that’s accessible (as I’ve stayed here before and was still surprised by it when arriving with my mother. Who knew?)
The balconies are wonderful. If you are bothered by smokers though you should know this can be a...

"Superb location, beautiful views, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was good enough especially considering the price of the room. Indoor swimming pool was very good and easy access to the beach made for a lovely stay. Car park was secure and plenty of space. We extended our stay an extra night as enjoyed it so much."

"The best thing about VM is the staff. service is very good in every area. they give great ideas for day trips, beaches and restaurants. some might view the experience tranquil but it can also be viewed as "dead". bar was empty both friday and saturday and it is an incredible bar. biggest issue was the dining room. falls flat relative to the decor of the rest of the hotel and the food is merely decent. for the price, it needs to be amazing on all fronts"

"I only stayed one night, but had a very enjoyable visit. The room is very nice with a small porch and views of the countryside. The staff is nice and the food was quite good and very reasonably priced. The weather was a bit too cold to enjoy the beautiful pool but I suspect that come the summer it is lovely. The room looked a bit “worn” but it was clean and there were nice amenities provided. We had brought our own bikes to tour the area, but they do have some for guests to use which is...
