"The resort is beautiful and the views from the rooms and pool area are stunning. The service is top notch and the breakfast + drinks were delicious. The beachfront is more aesthetic as it's very rocky, so not the type of beach you can swim in or enter. That being said, it was very cheap and easy to get transport to the other beaches around the island. "

"Beach house! On a nice sandy beach with no rocks. Riverview was nice. Access is by dirt road, but worth it. This is great place to stay and be left alone. There is plenty of parking, but the layout is unusual, park in the grass wherever."

Only slightly negative thing is there aren’t many restaurants in the area, but the few you find are very nice. Closest ATM is about 3 kilometers away. Otherwise very nice and calm area."

"Pen was phenomenal. English-speaking and very helpful getting taxis and answering questions. Pen made our stay wonderful. This is a beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere, which was just the getaway we were looking for. We did get a taxi to White Sand Beach one day and I was glad we didn’t stay there because it was too touristy. At night at Parama, all you can hear are birds and frogs. Paradise. "

Several restaurants are a short walk away down a road heading towards the beach from the front of the hotel. Massage is available at a reasonable price at the hotel as well. Please note that island transportation is very expensive so you will likely stay at the resort. We arranged through them a full day...
