"I chose this IBIS hotel based on air conditioned rooms (not easy to find in Thonon), distance from family members who live in the area and consistency with room/hotel amenities. The room was clean, minimally equipped as per expected (no tea kettle/coffee maker, fridge, etc.). The bed was reasonably comfortable (not hard as a rock) which is not always easy to find in Europe based on American standards however biased. It was nice to have a few English speaking tv channels to watch as...

"The Ibis budget hotel isn't a budget because the price is not commensurate to the accommodation but at par with other upgrade hotels. The room is crowded, no blow dryer, they have done away with cabinetry & hooks on wall. Men would comfortably stay here. Linens & pillows are soft & comfortable. We were able to adjust room temperature & didnot have to freeze.There is a fee for parking. Reasonable breakfast buffet. Staff are helpful."

"The hotel was fine, but we expected parking lot at the hotel (because we specifically searched for that) and when we got there there was no hotel parking lot and we had to park in a public parking lot and pay for that seperately. The lady at the check-in was not very friendly, but other members of staff were nice. Better breakfast than I expected. Also, we wondered who came up with the idea to put matt glass door on the toilet? Like, you can still see through it 🙃 But overall it was a pleasant...
