"Birthday Bliss – Rainbows, Relaxation & a Spa for All Weathers
Stayed for a birthday treat and it couldn’t have been more magical! Even with mixed weather, the spa was perfect—steamy outdoor pools with stunning views of Windermere, and cosy indoor thermal rooms to warm up in. We even saw a rainbow over the lake while relaxing in the hot tub!
Staff were lovely, the food was great, and the whole place felt like a luxury retreat. Rain or shine, Low Wood Spa is a dream. Can’t wait to go back! 💗"

"The hotel's location is superb - with a great view over Windermere and within walking distance of restaurants, pubs and tings to do. While in need of investment, the room we had was clean and in good condition and the restaurant was too. The swimming pool and leisure facilities were very good. Some staff were excellent and very friendly but a few were less so/"

"Quick check in, good bar with lots of real ale. OK pub food. Excellent breakfast. The room was fine, other than the window not fitting (potentially a problem in Winter). But the bathroom was truly awful, it was clean, but so scruffy, with grotty lino and the enamel peeling off the bath. It could be so much better. "

"Amazing property and a host in Richard that goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Location is stunning and the property has lots of charms including private walk to Grasmere and gardens with nightly badger visits."

"Nice apartment for my wife and I to spend a couple of nights with our 1 year old daughter. There was plenty of room in the bedroom for the travel cot we brought with us, and they provided a high chair on arrival. The apartment was also dog friendly so our little pooch was able enjoy the trip with us (at a cost of £25 per night). The welcome pack did mention there was a free bag of dog treats available for dogs, but we didn't actually receive any. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything...
