First, we had to argue for parking because they wanted to charge us instead of honoring the fact that it says free parking but that wasn’t the end of it. When we got to the place the whole hotel REEKED of cigarettes and our room was no better in fact it smelled of mildew and sewage. The bedding was also dirty as there was a red stain on our pillow. "The Good: 10 min. to beach. Off-site staff very nice. Made special effort to send help to carry my heavy bag up steep flight of stairs. Cool architectural windows and balcony. Going for trendy look. The bad: creepy, dirty, hard to find front entrance to old apartment building. Raucous street noise all night. Missing lock on balcony door. Damaged bathroom fixtures.
