"We have just returned from a week at Hotel D’Olonne (or should I say Chateau D’Olonne). We were excited before arrival, and we were not disappointed.
The hotel and its staff ensured a safe, welcoming and comfortable stay. Special shout out to Gloria who ran the reception like a boss.
Super food in the atmospheric restaurant (think medieval banquet), and the best Aperol Spritz.

in, everything is within few steps away! Nice swimming pools, sauna and jacuzzi. Room was very comfortable and had everything and more than we needed. Really enjoyed the place and location."

. Friendly efficient staff and comfortable rooms. Only downside is having to book an hour slot for the spa as it only has beds for 8 people. The sauna doesn’t work as gaps in the doors. Also I’ve never stayed in a 5* where you pay extra (we were HB) at breakfast for fresh orange and hot choc. Also no draft beer on a night and 50€ cheapest wine (was nice though). "

The view out the window was literally of the highway panels. After our first sleepless night, the staff did change our room which was quieter but still a bit sad. the day before I checked out , the hotel staff provided me extra care and help ( many thanks to the gentleman from the bar for your pain relief cream it helps !) .
The room is clean with a lovely balcony and spacious bathroom with strong and hot water , the heating in the room works well too .
Not to mention the location is perfect...
