"Nice hotel for a few nights with our small family, was initially given what felt like the worst room in the hotel 417- a small corner room but then we requested a move and was given a bigger room in line with what we paid for- a studio. Service was great from the staff, breakfast okay but nothing to shout about. Ran out of beans one morning with about 10 minutes to go and staff said they wouldn’t be bringing anymore out as they take 20 minutes to make. Lots of paid for parking near by. "

"We visited Healds Hall for a family occasion. The food was excellent throughout - both catering for a large number at the function and serving breakfasts next day - having everything prepared from fresh ingredients.
The room we stayed in was obviously refurbished. With the modern amenities of a good bathroom, and the restful atmosphere of the period house, it was a very pleasant experience."
