"Beautiful building with character. Bit of a rabbit warren inside though -our room was on the 3rd floor and we got lost several times trying to find the pool. We didn’t realise the outdoor pool is heated and the temperature was in the mid 30’s so not a refreshing dip but would be nice in cooler weather. The sun beds were very hard. The terrace restaurant was lovely with very good food and attentive staff."

The Italian villa feel to the place was great, and the breakfast was amazing! We only had one night in Lucca, but wished we could have spent more time there, and in this amazing hotel. "
