However, at check-in we had to pay over €150 extra for a club membership, which we didn't know what it was for.
Included in the all inclusive package was the food, which was more or less the same every day and only water and wine from a tap to drink. We drank from plastic glasses.
Every other drink, such as cola, had to be paid for separately with a card at 3.50 per can.

"We had a wonderful time and the service was outstanding. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is stunning. The only issue we had was the condition of the beach chairs. It was surprising that they were in such poor condition. The back rests were not stable and my husband got his finger caught in the hinge when he sat down and the back folded back unintentionally. He required 5 stiches and had a very long stay at the local hospital. The assistant director was wonderful and very helpful...

"A lovely venue, albeit somewhat isolated - you have to have a car. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We had the pool to oursleves, as well as the waitress!"

"The hygienic conditions were horrible, the toilets near the bars and restaurants were very dirty, a bad smell came out of the toilet in the room. The restaurant with buffet was dirty in the area of fries, with food thrown on the counter.
Food in general was not good, but the cakes and pastries were excellent."

and breakfast is complimentary. I have stayed several times and I will always go back. I did miss the Crema Pasticcera for breakfast the past couple of times. They also offer laundry service, which is great to have!! Parking is super easy which lends to exploring nearby areas like Pomarico, Matera and Bernalda. The air conditioner in the room worked incredibly well...

"What a delightful surprise! The Salina turned out to be my favorite hotel on the trip. Parking was easy, safe and free. Checking in was a breeze. The room was spacious, clean and very modern. The shower was by far the best one on the trip!

"Reserved this hotel because of the hot tubs on the roof and checking in they informed they are never available till November sometime. No where does it say that in advertising, only pictures of the hot tubs on the main page. Disappointing. Having said that it was clean and comfortable in a nice town to walk at night."
